Description
Acrylic LED Signage
Acrylic LED signage uses durable, translucent acrylic plastic sheets in combination with energy-efficient LED lights to create custom, glowing signs
. These signs offer a high-end, visually striking appearance for both indoor and outdoor business and decorative applications.
Types of acrylic LED signage
- 3D Acrylic LED Letters: Raised, dimensional lettering made from thick, cut acrylic. LEDs can be placed inside the letters for a “halo” effect (backlit) or to illuminate the face of the letter (front-lit), making them stand out with vibrant depth.
- Edge-Lit Signs: In this style, graphics or text are engraved onto a transparent acrylic panel. LEDs are installed along the edge of the panel, and the light travels through the acrylic, illuminating only the engraved lines. This creates a clean, elegant glowing effect.
- Box-Type LED Signs: These are enclosed sign boxes with an acrylic face. They provide a high-impact, uniform display.
- Backlit: An opaque backing with an acrylic face, illuminated from behind by LEDs to highlight a logo or graphic.
- Block-out: Signs where specific areas are blocked out to prevent light from passing through, creating a clear, crisp effect in lit areas.
- Acrylic LED Sandwich Boards: These are double-sided, freestanding signs with two acrylic panels enclosing a printed graphic. Illuminated with internal LEDs, they are often used for advertising and promotion in high-traffic areas.
- Acrylic Lollipop/Flange Boards: These are illuminated, circular or square signs that project from a wall, maximizing visibility from different directions. They are commonly seen outside cafes and retail stores.
- Acrylic LED Neon Signs: A modern alternative to traditional glass neon, these signs use flexible LED strips housed in acrylic tubing to mimic the look of glowing neon. This version is more durable, energy-efficient, and safer.
